Owner: Maria Walter, Feldkirch
Maria, our neighbour dressmaker in Feldkirch, saw me painting through her window. She gave me many unpainted canvases and colour paintings that belonged to her father, who had been a painter in Tyrol, where he lived with his family. In gratitude and for her generosity I gave her back this painting of a path with a strong autumn red.
